Baker Bill – Remembering

In my Dad’s memory, I wrote the following poem after he died of a massive stroke.

On his face life’s weight was erased

All he had was pure live to embrace

His worries and fears were left behind

As his face was young and kind

While the situation was sad

A look of pure love was to be had

On this day last year

I shed a great tear

For a man of great presence

My only wish is to hold onto his essence
