About me
I am a creative person who truly appreciates all forms of art. I focus most of my time working with mixed media. I use my creative talents to relax after a tough day or tune the world out for a bit. What I find interesting is that I own only a few of my creations. I prefer to make things for others to enjoy. I once heard a saying that I found to be true: the art of buying art supplies has nothing to do with the art of doing art. I love a great craft store and practicing the art of buying supplies.
Let me tell you a bit about my life. I’m lucky to share my cozy home with my amazing wife, Kim, and our adorable furball, Blue the Cat. When I’m not busy getting creative at home, I love hanging out with family and friends. You know those moments when you’re just chatting and laughing with your loved ones? That’s when I feel most alive and grounded – it’s like a gentle reminder of what matters in life.
I’m pretty fortunate that most of my family lives nearby. It’s great because we can pop over for dinner or a quick catch-up without any fuss. But here’s a fun fact: I’ve got family across the pond in the UK too! I try to hop over there as often as possible to see them. It’s always an adventure!
Oh, and I’ve got a pretty wild story from my past. Would you believe I once raised a boa constrictor? I watched that little guy grow from a tiny hatchling into a massive 10-foot snake! Let me tell you, it was quite the conversation starter. And the best part? It was the ultimate deterrent for door-to-door salespeople. Talk about an unexpected perk!
